Mounted Fertilizer Coulters

Great in the Field.  The primary use of Gates Mounted Fertilizer Coulters are to safely place fertilizer outside of the seed row.  They are designed to attach directly to the air seeder shank and apply NH3, urea, or liquid fertilizer.

Saves Time, Fuel, and Moisture.  With Gates Mounted Fertilizer Coulters, you can eliminate a separate fertilizer pass, plant in less time, and conserve moisture which can increase yield.  With today's high fuel prices, they can immediately cut costs by eliminating field passes.

Any Implement and Configuration!  Gates Manufacturing has equipped Mounted Fertilizer Coulters on several makes and models of air seeders.  If we haven't done it yet, we can work with you to develop the mount system for your application.

Uses:

• Safe fertilizer placement to the side of the seed row

• Effective placement of NH3, urea, or liquid fertilizer

• Coulter design works well in heavy residue applications

• 18" smooth coulter set at 5 degrees

• Single pin, depth adjustment

• Spring rubber, loaded floating scraper with chromium carbide leading edge for long wear life

• Adapts to a variety of equipment besides air seeders
