In-frame Harrows for Air Seeders

Great in the Field.  The primary use of Gates In-frame Harrows is to enhance your seeding tool.  They are designed to move soil back into the seed row before packing occurs for better germination, even emergence, and smoother field finish.

Any Implement and Configuration!  Gates Manufacturing has equipped In-frame Harrows on many makes and models of air seeders.  We are the preferred supplier of two bar harrow systems for Bourgault 5710 air hoe drills and 8810 seeders, and one bar systems for John Deere 1820 air flex drills.  If we haven't done it yet, we can work with you to develop the mount system for your application.

Uses:

• Closing of seed rows before packing occurs

• Leveling of seedbed

• Sealing of banded fertilizer and incorporation of pre-plant chemical.

Standard Features:

• Tine spacing to match drill spacing, putting tines exactly where they're needed

• 1 & 2 bar configurations

• Spring loaded adjustable arms for 2 bar, solid mounts for 1 bar

• Easy tine angle adjustment (one pin)

• Universal frame brackets and mount kits

• Positive leveling adjustment

• 7/16" x 22" tines

• Tines pivot freely for backing up (2bar)
